CSscreenie
has been busy. He has created a screenshot program which allows you to select an area of your desktop and either upload to your own server, imageshack, imgur, save to file or copy to clipboard.
Windows:
To start the screenshot process you can use a hot key combination. Default are set to
- Ctrl + 1 -> Upload to own server
- Ctrl + 2 -> Save to HDD
- Ctrl + 3 -> Copy to Clipboard
- Ctrl + 4 -> Upload to Imageshack
Download: Link!
Linux:
Apart from the current lack of hot keys (functionality has been replaced by a context menu on the tray icon), this does everything the windows version does.
It needs Qt and cURL to perform correctly.

For help, bug reporting etc etc you can post in the support thread or go find in the irc chan

Just so you guys are kept upto date. I have begun work on V1.0, i am now going through every little bit of code optimizing it, making the source easier to read, and commenting it. Im also using this time to rewrite some bits and actually implement others.
So im gonna spend the next few weeks making sure the code is working, and bug free. Im also thinking about putting development releases up, before I release the code, which hopefully will give you guys a chance to run through the code and hopefully help me patch it up
If any of you are interested in obtaining a dev release either wait for me to post links here, or come ask me in IRC (irc://irc.grayhoods.org/cybershade).
Oh before I forget, V1.0 will come with the PM sys, forum, group and profile modules. I believe this is the minimum a CMS should have to function properly.

Just incase you wer wondering, we havent stopped developing, ive just put an upgrade up to the administration and moderator panels, im leaving the user panel as is at the moment. Let me just tell you though, the new panels make things a LOT easier for staff.
As for other things, theres some core upgrades to be done yet, ive also got the page module about 40% completed too, ive also got plans in the works for a sort of wiki module, which will be mainly used for cms documentation

Righty then boys and girls.
Notification System
Right then so at the moment I have added a notification panel to the CMS. This includes access to the setting which controls how the forum notifies you about replies to threads.
With this system, you have 3 options which is a bit different to other systems. you have the good old fashioned 'None' Setting, which will do nothing, 'Email' will email you via the email address on file, and the 3rd option is 'Notify' which will use the CMS's internal Notification system. Which will at the moment give you a pretty message.
I have also added a Link to the bottom of the thread page, this will enable to you 'subscribe' or 'unsubscribe' to said thread. When a user replies to a thread, it will gather a list of users watching a thread, also all users that have replied to said thread. Using your user settings the system will then determine which action to take, default being Email
Private Message System
Jesus has also been busy rewriting the PM sys. The new version should fix numerous problems and should be more stable too.
Articles & Codebase System
I've also done some upgrades on these systems, nothing big, just added a 'latest' to the main category page.

Just upped the new forum Search. At the min its very basic, but it does work.
You can search specific forums, or forums and their children (and their children) cats, you also have the ability to view a few 'preset' searches, eg New Posts since last login, Your Posts, 'Recent' Posts which atm is set to 48 hours..
Suggestions and shiz plz
